Income Tax Return Submission
Overview

Understanding Income Tax Return Submission

Filing an income tax return in Bangladesh is mandatory for a wide range of individuals and every company — and proof of return submission (PSR) is now required for trade licences, bank loans, credit cards and many property transactions.

We handle the complete filing cycle: e-TIN registration, income and wealth statements, tax computation, investment rebate optimisation and submission through the NBR e-return system or manually where required.

You receive your acknowledgement slip and a clear summary of what was filed, and we remind you well before the next deadline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who needs to submit an income tax return in Bangladesh?

Anyone whose taxable income exceeds the tax-free threshold must file. In addition, many people need proof of return submission (PSR) — for example for trade licences, bank loans or certain property and vehicle transactions — and are therefore required to submit a return.

What is the deadline for filing an individual tax return?

For individual taxpayers the deadline (commonly known as Tax Day) is normally 30 November following the end of the income year. Companies have a different deadline based on their accounting year. We'll remind you well in advance.

Can you file my return online?

Yes. We prepare and submit your return through the NBR e-return system and provide you with the acknowledgement slip, so you do not need to visit any tax office.
