IRC & ERC Certificate
Your licence to trade internationally, handled end to end.

Understanding IRC & ERC Certificate
Any business that wants to import or export in Bangladesh needs an Import Registration Certificate (IRC) or Export Registration Certificate (ERC) from the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports (CCI&E). Without it, you cannot open letters of credit or clear goods through customs.
We prepare and submit your application, arrange the supporting documents — including trade licence, tax and VAT registrations, bank certificate and chamber or association membership — and follow up until the certificate is issued.
Certificates must be renewed every year. We track your renewal dates, handle amendments and provide legal support on import and export compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IRC and ERC?
An IRC allows you to import goods into Bangladesh, and an ERC allows you to export. Many trading businesses hold both.
Do IRC and ERC need to be renewed?
Yes, both must be renewed every financial year. An expired certificate can stop you from opening letters of credit or clearing shipments.
Can a newly formed company apply?
Yes, once it has a trade licence, e-TIN, BIN, a bank account and chamber or association membership. We can arrange all of these as part of the process.
